The following training sessions are mandatory for anyone wishing to serve during our parish liturgies. They are open to all those currently serving as well as those wishing to join our teams! If you are unable to be present, please notify the church office prior to the date.
Usher Training: Saturday, June 1
We will have a mandatory training for all ushers on Saturday, June 1, from 12:00 to 2:00pm. The session will include lunch, a talk, and training.
Altar Server Training: Saturday, June 15
We will have a mandatory day of recollection and training for all altar servers on Saturday, June 15. We will begin at 9:00am with Mass, followed by a time of prayer, a short reflection on the spirit of serving, and a training session. We will conclude with lunch (provided) and fellowship. Any young men wishing to become altar servers are invited to join us.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion Training: Saturday, June 29
We will have a mandatory training session for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) on Saturday, June 29, at 10:00am, following the 9:00am daily Mass. This session will last approximately one hour and is for both those currently serving or who are interested in serving during Mass as well as ministry to the home bound.
Lector Training: Saturday, June 29
We will have a mandatory training session for all lectors (readers) on Saturday, June 29, at 11:00am, immediately following our EMHC training. This is for all current lectors as well as anyone interested in reading at Mass. This session will last approximately one hour.
