“Catechesis is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life” (Catechesi Tradendae 18).
“Catechesis is intimately bound up with the whole of the Church’s life” (Catechesi Tradendae 13).
Youth Faith Formation
Faith Formation classes meet weekly during the academic year on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 until 7:30pm for grades K through 8. Our high school youth ministry meets at the parish at the same time.
The contact for faith formation is Mrs. Sara Freeman, our parish director of education.

RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, and is the usual process through which a non-Catholic joins the Catholic Church. We have ongoing RCIA catechesis. Contact Mike Ensley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
