Host Our Lady in your home for a week!
We invite members of our parish family to experience a special time of prayer and devotion by welcoming our Fatima Pilgrim Virgin statue into your home for a week.
The pilgrim statue is a smaller version of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima that is displayed in our church. Both were brought back by our former pastor, Fr. Casey Coleman, from a pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal, during his first year as pastor of St. Mary’s as a gift to our parish community. Hosting the pilgrim statue in your home is a beautiful way to make a spiritual pilgrimage to Fatima, to increase devotion to our Blessed Mother, and to ask Mary for her special intercession.
The pilgrim statue is housed in a specially constructed display case from which it is not to be removed. You will receive the statue in its case, as well as a booklet with instructions on how to welcome Mary into your home, on the Sunday that begins your week. You will be responsible for returning the statue and instruction booklet to the church in time for the next recipient to receive on the following Sunday.
