The 2021 Eucharistic Congress will be an online/parish-based event, in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and rising rates of infection across the Diocese of Charlotte.
The Diocese of Charlotte has provided a guide to celebrating the Eucharistic Congress at home, which registered parishioners should receive in the mail with their copies of the Sept. 10 issue of the Catholic News Herald. You can also download it as a pdf document or request a free copy in the mail by calling 704-370-3333.
Talks by the scheduled speakers will be available on the Diocese of Charlotte YouTube Channel beginning Sept. 17. A listing of the speakers and talk topics can be found on the Eucharistic Congress website.
Bishop Peter Jugis will celebrate a Votive Mass of the Most Holy Eucharist at 5:30 PM on Saturday, Sept. 18 and at 11:00 AM on Sunday, Sept. 19, which will be livestreamed on the diocesan YouTube Channel.
