As we continue to adapt our liturgical schedule and protocols in compliance with the latest guidelines issued by the Diocese of Charlotte, the Centers for Disease Control, and any applicable state and local ordinances, continue to check our web site and be attentive to our Facebook Page, YouTube Channel, and Flocknote email announcements for the latest updates.

UPDATED 5/24/2020

Mass (General)

  • The Bishop’s dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains in effect.
  • Sunday and weekday Masses will continue to be live streamed on our Facebook Page.
  • Those who are specifically at-risk for COVID-19 due to age or underlying health conditions are advised to use prudence and all due caution when deciding whether or not to attend public Mass.
  • Those testing positive for COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to please stay home in consideration for the health of others.

Mass (Sunday)

  • To accommodate the largest number of people in the safest manner possible, the 7:00 pm Saturday Vigil Mass and the 10:00 am Sunday morning Mass will continue to be celebrated outdoors on our patio with the congregation participating from the parking lot. Holy Communion will be distributed inside the Church.
  • Registration is required for Sunday Masses, both to reserve space in the parking lot and to ensure those participating have read all necessary protocols for receiving Holy Communion. The registration form will be emailed via Flocknote each week as well as posted:

  • Limited seating is available in the church for those who need mobility assistance.
  • Beginning Pentecost Sunday (May 31), a 7:30 am simple Mass (no music) will be offered in the church with seating limited to 35. Details in the 5/24/20 Pastor’s Desk update.

Mass (Weekday)

  • Weekday Masses are being celebrated inside the Church and are open to the public.
  • Please sit only in designated pews.
  • Face coverings are required inside the church.
  • Please read these protocols before attending weekday Mass.

Eucharistic Adoration & Prayer

  • The church is generally open throughout the week for private prayer.
  • We are resuming our usual Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration every Friday in the church following the 9:00 am Mass, with Benediction at 10:30 am.
  • We are resuming First Friday Adoration from after the 9:00 am Mass until 10:00 pm. The registration form to sign up for times will be posted here each month.
  • Please sit only in designated pews.
  • Face coverings are required inside the church.
  • Please follow these protocols when entering and leaving the church for Adoration or any other time of prayer.

Confession

  • Confession will continue to be offered outdoors on the church patio. Please remain in your vehicle as you wait for your turn.
    • Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 pm
    • Fridays from 5:00-6:00 pm
    • Saturdays from 5:00-6:00 pm
